Aladdin
It is said high in the mountains of Peking a magic lamp lies hidden; within this lamp is a magical Genie!
The evil Abanazer wants to get his hands on this lamp so he can rule the world. The only problem is he needs a local to guide him to the cave.
Young Aladdin lives in Peking with his mother and brother who run the local laundrette. He is in a secret relationship with the Emperor Of China’s daugher: a relationship that has strictly been forbidden.
Will Abanazer succeed with his evil plan? Will Aladdin be accepted by the Emperor?
This show is packed full of laughs, magical beings, song and dance, great fun for all the family!

CAST AND CHARACTERS
Aladdin
A young and naïve boy, kind and good natured, gets into a little mischief, in love with Princess Jasmine, son of Widow Twanky and brother of Wishee Washee.
Princess Jasmine
A sweet young girl, in love with Aladdin, daughter of the Emperor of China. She is a lot more worldly wise than he likes.
Dame Widow Twanky
The owner of the Peking Laundry, a poor working class lady, mother of both Aladdin and Wishee Washee. Keen to find herself a man.
Wishee Washee
The fool of the show, a cheeky and loveable young man, always bickering with his mother, no common sense, son of Widow Twanky, brother of Aladdin.
The Emperor Of China
A puffed up buffoon with good intentions but quite a weak underside, ruler of China, over protective father of Princess Jasmine and very disapproving of her love with Aladdin.
Abanazer
Over the top evil character, has great plans to find the magic lamp and use its powers to marry Princess Jasmine and become ruler of China.
Genie Of The Lamp
The more powerful of the two magical beings, lives in the lamp and serves whoever frees him at that time, very flamboyant character.
Slave Of The Ring
The least powerful of the magic beings, serves whoever is wearing the ring, much more practical than the Genie of the Lamp.
So-Shi
Companion and confident of Princess Jasmine, a little in love with Wishee Washee, is aware of Aladdin and Jasmine. Can be double cast with the Slave Of The Ring actor.
Officer Chow
A foolish police officer, along side their partner constantly chasing and searching for Aladdin.
Officer Mein
The other foolish police office. Like Chow, lacks in brains and is obsessed with catching Aladdin.
Mrs Pong
Officers Chow and Mein’s not so secret informant. The script can be edited to not include this character.
Royal Guards
Two Royal Guards that follow the Emperor everywhere, they can be substituted by Officers Chow and Mein if struggling to cast.

Abanazer recruits Aladdin to help him in his quest. Officers Chow and Mein get into a rather sticky situation.
